Hello and welcome to all of our new children and families who will be joining us in September. We are very pleased that you are joining us and we look forward to getting to know you all and welcoming you to our school family. 

Transition arrangements are progressing really well and we have already visited nursery and pre-school settings where we know children have been attending. Most visits have now been completed and final transition arrangements made to ensure that your child has the best start to school with us.  

Thank you to all of you who attended our Parent Meeting where you collected your child's starter packs. It was lovely to meet you and hopefully we have been able to alleviate any worries that you may have had. 

Please find below some documents that have been produced by the Early Years Team at County to help you with ideas for supporting your child's transition to school. We hope that you find them useful. As mentioned in the meeting, children do not need to come to school able to complete everything on these documents. They are simply there to provide ideas for you to support your child at home before starting with us in September. Many thanks.

Please note - we are a Healthy school and therefore do not allow squash in drinks bottles, only water. Water bottles can be purchased from our uniform provider Decowear if you should choose or from an alternate source. Please ensure that these are clearly named. We have access to a water fountain within the classroom. 

Please also note that we are a NUT FREE SCHOOL. We have children with us that have a severe airborne nut allergy and therefore request that any items sent in lunchboxes if providing them from home rather than using Willoughby Foods are checked thoroughly.
