Mrs Jan Mitchell (Local Authority): Curriculum & Standards Governor.
Jan is our Chair of Governors and she is the Chair of the Finance Committee.
I joined the Governing Body in September 2016. I believe that every child should receive the best possible education and it was a privilege to be invited to join the Governors of this friendly and welcoming school. I have lived in Gosberton Risegate since 2007. Previously I was employed as a manager by a firm of chartered accountants in their tax department.
I am the Local Authority Governor and sit on and Chair the Resources sub-committee. I also help in other areas of school life, holding responsibility for Maths, History and Geography. I can be contacted via the school office.

I work for the NHS. I have been part of the governing body since 2014. Both of my children attended the Clough and Risegate school, they really enjoyed being part of the school family and learning in such a wonderful environment.
I sit on the Standards Committee and am responsible for monitoring safeguarding, attendance and behaviour.

Mr David Dickinson: Health & Safety, Pupil Premium Governor.

I have lived in the village all of my life, working on our family farm for the last forty-five years. I attended the Clough and Risegate Primary School in the early 1960’s and have watched the many changes that have taken place since then. Having been involved in village life for many years through the Young Farmers Club and the Church, I look forward to this new challenge of being a Governor, with the responsibilities and opportunities it presents.
I have responsibility for Pupil Premium, Health & Safety, PE/SPG and sit on the Resources sub-committee.
I can always be contacted through the school.
Ms Dee Williamson is the school's Staff Governor.
I am new to the role of Staff Governor but look forward to taking on this new role and opportunity to continue to support our small school in other ways. I find the workings of the school very interesting and I am here to act as a representative of the staff but also to help the Governors with their roles and responsibilities.
