We use the County Council Admissions Policy as set out in the “Going to School in Lincolnshire (GTSIL) -please see above link. There is a coordinated scheme for admission to Reception through the Local Authority.
Children are admitted into our school's Willow Class (EYFS/Y1) in the September following their fourth birthday and Lincolnshire County Council coordinate admissions for all Lincolnshire Children. At Clough & Risegate Community Primary School we have a Pupil Admission Number of 13 pupils.
We like to know well in advance of possible new entrants so please encourage your friends to enter their child’s name as early as possible. Government rules state that parents of children seeking admission to the Reception Year (EYFS) must make an application through the coordinated system operated by Lincolnshire County Council, even if parents have already contacted the school.
There are two ways to apply for a school place for September. You can apply online at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/schooladmissions or you can apply by calling the LCC Admissions Team: 01522 782030.
Parents are encouraged to view the school and ask any questions regarding their child's education before they make their decision.
We encourage all prospective parents to attend our Open Afternoon or ring to arrange a visit to our school. Also, take a look at our school website, where a video can be found, plus a wealth of information about our small village school.
The Headteacher, Mrs Rooney, is available to answer any questions you may have or to point you towards any further information you would like about our school.
Mrs Rooney can be contacted via the school phone 01775 750297 or email us on
enquiries@clough-risegate.co.uk
On acceptance to our school and in addition to the central admission form we will ask parents to complete a school admission form, medical questionnaire and various other permission forms.
