Term 3
Welcome back - Happy New Year to you all! Hopefully everyone has been able to have a restful holiday ready for new adventures in Term 3.
This term, we begin our 'Transport and Change' topic where we are going to be looking at all different types of transport and how this has changed over time. It will also involve a visit to the Nene Valley Railway in Peterborough for a special steam train experience!
We shall be thinking about how we can manage our feelings and have already begun talking about why we have rules and building towers in our construction area to help us to realise that it does not matter if things go wrong (as they did when we were building!) and what we can do about it. Please see some of our finished towers below.
We continue our number work, thinking about numbers to 10, composition of number and finding one more/ one less.
We have also enjoyed thinking about how we can keep ourselves healthy, designing our own healthy meal, before heading to the kitchen to prepare and cook a tasty vegetable pasta dish!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
