PE this term for Willow Class will be on a Tuesday afternoon led by our very own Mr Wiles. PE kits need to include joggers and jumpers as we aim to get children outside as often as possible for these sessions. Please help your child on this day by removing any earrings if they wear them. Please keep practising those tricky things like buttons too at home. It really does make all the difference. Thank you.
As per the school policy, please remember that children should only be bringing in water for hydration throughout the day. This helps us to maintain our 'Healthy School' status that we work hard towards for the benefit of all children. This should be in a clearly named bottle. These will live at the back of the class and will be accessible during the day. We do have a water fountain in class and children have ample opportunity to use it. We always ensure that children are encouraged to drink plenty throughout the day. Water bottles are refilled for the children when needed.
All children in Willow Class are provided with a different fruit option snack each day. These vary depending on what is sent by the fruit provider. If you know that your child prefers a particular type of fruit as a mid-morning snack, then please do feel free to send one in for them to enjoy. These will live on the tray at the back of the classroom with children's water bottles. Please ensure that any pots are clearly labelled with your child's name so that we can ensure that they are returned safely. Thank You.
