We are very proud of our uniform here at Clough and Risegate Community Primary School. Our House Captains proudly set a good example to children in school and work as part of a TEAM to ensure others are wearing theirs with pride.
The uniform in our school is a navy school sweatshirt or cardigan with the school logo. The polo shirt or traditional shirt/blouse to be worn is either light blue or white. We are phasing out the navy blue shirts from September 2021. School trousers for both girls and boys are dark grey or black. Girls can wear a grey skirt or pinafore dress or summer dresses in blue gingham. Plain white/dark ankle socks or knee length socks for the girls are appropriate, especially in the summer and black/grey/navy tights can be worn in the winter. Boys are required to wear plain black, grey or white socks please. School shoes are black and please do not send children in any foot wear that isn’t appropriate, either in style or colour. Trainers must only be worn for PE.
For P.E. and games children wear their house colour t-shirt and black or navy shorts and plimsolls or trainers. In the winter, it is helpful to have an outdoor trainer and indoor plimsolls/trainers. A dark tracksuit/jogging bottoms may be worn for outdoor games which should also be plain black, dark grey or navy please.
