Welcome to Week 4
I know that many of you decided to have a break for Easter and therefore may not need this weeks resources. However, we took the decision to keep adding as some parents requested that they would like to continue with the routine that they have become used to. Again, PLEASE do not feel that everything on here needs to be completed. It does not. I want to ensure that there is enough but also try and give children and parents a choice.
The PDF's that start this list are ideas for English. They are wordy but have lots of different tasks on them. There are links to all of the documents you need are within the PDF or you could just write in the blue book supplied. Don't forget that spellings, phonics and handwriting (not forgetting reading) can all count as English activities too.
This week, I have added the Mental Math Mats under the main Y1 page. These are explained there and are in addition to the Mental Math already sent home in the children's packs prior to closure.
You will also find Maths and the Chilli challenge, again with associated documents below them.
Please continue to use the additional Spring/Easter themed activities and a Science booklet that was added last week to pick and choose from.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
