Welcome back!

Happy New Year and welcome back to Oak. We have many new topics this terms, so please check our class page for regular updates and photos of what we have been up to.

Homework

We continue to promote reading as a part of our homework and have been please with the amount of pupils in Oak reading on a regular basis. Thank you and well done! 

We have also added a mental maths sheet to our homework expectations. A new sheet will be handed out to pupils, in their homework book, and they will have one week to complete and return. Homework sheets are handed out on a Tuesday and can be returned any time when completed with a deadline of Tuesday. 

All pupils will have support for any questions they didn't get correct during school time, therefore please allow pupils to be as independent as possible when completing the homework sheet.

Below is a brief outline of the topics that will be studied in Oak. This allows pupils to carry out any pre-learning they would like to do which has shown to increase confidence and attainment.
