All schools receive a sports premium allocation in order to raise standards in P.E. and to improve and increase knowledge of health and well-being for all pupils.
The PE and Sport Premium grant allows for improved provision and opportunity during the current academic year and it is also used to provide training and opportunities that will improve standards in future years. Therefore the grant helps to provide a sustainable improvement in the quality of PE, Health and Well-being, over the long term.
At Clough and Risegate Community Primary, we value all of the extra opportunities and training that this money provides. The grant enables us to be active members of the Boston and District Sports Partnership; benefiting from inclusion in competitive events and training for staff and children. We also access coaching and training from the Spalding Elite Sport's Team who teach and coach our children and staff.
