Welcome to the start of a new academic year from Chestnut Class. This is were you will get the updates for our first big term back at school. It is all exciting and the children have settled down to start off the year.
It is a change being a small class and the children are enjoying the time from myself and they are already showing off their talents. They have started off their P.E. on a Thursday morning and they have been reminded to being appropriate clothing for this and remove earrings for this day.
The children have also started looking at Aerial Photographs in Geography and will be working towards making their own map symbols and maps. They have started looking at Sounds in Music and Rocks and Soils in Science. I will strive to keep this bit up to date with pictures and updates from the classroom.
The children have also been very excited because they are working towards learning their ten times tables by counting in tens. A video of this will be coming soon.
It is set to be a busy term, so keep an eye out for any updates from Chestnut on twitter and below.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
