For the next two days we are going to look at more properties of shape. You will now be looking at identifying horizontal and vertical lines.

Today you are going to write the introduction to your newspaper report. This isn't a long piece of writing but you must think about including the 5 W's and not telling the reader everything so that they want to read on.
First, I would like you to read the introductory paragraph of the newspaper examples below.
Then, you may wish to rewatch yesterday's video to remind yourself.
Finally, I would like you to write your introduction.
Remember to read your work once you think you have finished and make any changes needed.
