Our values are at the core of everything we do here at Clough and Risegate Community Primary School. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

We are a very proud, small, rural primary school, where the family ethos, positive attitudes and good behaviour are reflected throughout.

Our children are at the centre of our vision and through shared aspirations we aim for all children to reach their potential. We believe in providing opportunities for all, ensuring our children become confident and self-motivated with a passion for learning.

At Clough and Risegate we foster a caring environment, promoting consideration and appreciation for others. We spend time developing self esteem, self discipline and independence. Kindness is key and through mutual respect and collaboration every child can find security and experience success.

As a school we take pride in developing the social, moral, spiritual and cultural education of all children. We closely follow our school's 9 SMART TARGETS, which we celebrate and share. Parents are always welcome in school. They are encouraged to discuss openly any concerns and to play an active part in the life of the school.

Together we aim to develop the full potential of every child. We are proud of our children and our committed staff provide them with a good education, inspiring all learners.
