Back to School
It has been lovely to see everyone return to school and even better to hear of the children's wonderful summer breaks. We have all settled into Maple Class wonderfully and spent some time getting to know one another better. With the use of Post-it notes, we were able to find out some of our favourite things and leave them there for others to see.
Crazy Computing
We have begun to look at how computers are told what to do through the use of algorithms and flowcharts. The children created some of their own instructions for their partner to complete. We had some very out of breath children.
Science
This term we have learnt lots about electrical items and circuits. We have learnt so much we may have some budding electricians! The children have learnt all about conductors and insulators through scientific enquiries. As well as this, we have built upon our skills to identify a complete, and incomplete, circuit and the importance of switches to ensure our bulbs or buzzers work.
