COVID-19 Willow Class Bubble Closure
Dear Parents
This evening we have received news of a confirmed positive test for COVID-19 in Willow Class Bubble. We know that you will find this worrying but we are monitoring the situation and are working closely with Public Health Lincolnshire. This message is to inform you of the current situation and to provide advice. Please be reassured that for most people, COVID-19 will be a mild illness. However, Willow Class children and adults should not come to school or go to public areas. Exercise can be taken within the home during this period of self-isolation. The advice is that Willow Class Bubble children and staff are to isolate for the required 14 days and can then return to school on Wednesday 18th November. Siblings in other bubbles should continue to attend school, unless they or anyone in their family develop symptoms and/or subsequently tests positive themselves. Further advise will be given soon. Please be assured that we have planned for this eventuality and remote learning for your child will be put into place. Mrs Hazlehurst will be in touch with families tomorrow to discuss this further and Willow Class Page offers activities and support for your child in the meantime. I apologise for any concern or inconvenience this may cause. The school is following guidance issued by the DFE and Public Health Lincolnshire to keep everyone as safe as possible. I'll be in touch again soon.
Kind regards
Mrs Rooney
